LHRep28: UNBOUND... oh, and NQ36

Yay! John's back! The Dynamic Duo of Lost Hemispodcasting, along with their dreamy guest, return to meander their way through the pages of No Quarter #36 (that's three dozen issues - milestone!) and to apply their collective ponderings to Unbound, the new rules for ridiculously large games of Warmachine and Hordes.

You do realise, of course, that Gdaybloke will have an excuse to field 6 (!) Allegiants in an Unbound game? Why, it's enough to make a guy giddy. Tune in and get Lost, people! Download the episode on iTunes, or via this here linky: LINKY!

Geekspeak Tonight #1: Guess Who's Coming To Brunch

Apologies for the lack of a banner, we're still getting some things situated here with Geekspeak Tonight. Until then, enjoy that picture. Let it seep into your nightmares.

Oh yes, we have the inaugural episode of Geekspeak Tonight*, our new format and new flagship show. I could tell you that it's got Bryan and Lindsey and Steve Watts, that they talk about video game arts funding, the appropriate U.S. response to foreign hacking, and that...guy up there. I could tell you it has one of the most incredibly poorly thought-out monologues of all time. I could tell you a lot of things.

But let's be real. It's been 3 months. Just download it, we'll sort it all out later.

Re-Play Radio Episode 28: Batman is both brave and bold

After a few weeks off due to finals and credit card fraud (seriously), Bryan and Steve are back with a new Re-Play Radio. First it's Outland, Mortal Kombat, and Portal 2 all mixed in a lovely What Else cocktail.

Then it's on to Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a colorful Batman adventure for Bat-fans of all Bat-ages. Finally, Bryan shamelessly plugs the upcoming GeekSpeak reboot in the Re-Play Rant. Plug. Thing.

All that and a frank discussion of Glee plot holes are just a download away.

LHRep27: Palette Cleanser

Not long ago on the Lost Hemisphere blog we discussed the issue of game burnout and ways to avoid it; one method discussed is cleansing the palette - taking a brief hiatus from your normal hobby fascination, indulging in something else, and then coming back to your main game refreshed and revitalised.
In this episode of Lost Hemisphere Radio, aside from the usual Warmachine and Hordes mutterings, Gdaybloke spends some time with pals James and Kevin, taking an overview look at Spartan Games' three fleet games Uncharted Seas, Firestorm Armada and Dystopian Wars, and Soda Pop's super cute Super Dungeon Explore and impending Relic Knights.

LHRep26: DIECON and the Triune Podcast

Every once in a while the planets align in some sort of conjunction that some folks assign a mystical meaning to, and most of the rest of the world don't really seem to care about... now it's our turn! With Gdaybloke suffering from the dreaded lurgy, it's the return of the Fez, co-hosting with MenothJohn to bring Lost Hemisphere Radio and Fell Calls together once more... but the title of the episode says Triune, no? That means... Oh Dear Lord in Heaven, the Losties have shanghai'd someone from another Warmachine podcast as their guest! What could this mean? Well, let me put it to you simply: It means three hours of awesome. Strap yourself in, kids, this one's a long one! Download on iTunes or via the direct Linky!

Re-Play Radio Episode 27: Beyond 3DS & Evil

Bryan and Steve took a few weeks off for work and other activities, and come back refreshed to regale you with tales of Dragon Age 2, Pokemon Black and White, the Nintendo 3DS and some of its associated launch games in What Else.

Then it's on to Beyond Good & Evil, where the boys discuss clever gameplay mechanics, gay hispanic A.I. programs, humanoid pigs, and Nietzsche. Finally, Steve wonders why 3D-required 3DS games are a supposed taboo in the Re-Play Rant.

All that and a plenty of semi-on-, semi-off-topic discussion of Batman is just a download away.
